i. Reflection on Banning —  Neighborhood of Port of South Los Santos

Banning sits as the forgotten foreshore sibling of the Port of South Los Santos Neighborhood. The only mainland part of the Port, it is often described as transitional, but I would describe it as connective. From the Miriam Turner Overpass suspension bridge, Maze Bank Arena to Davis City Hall, the strong civic architecture of La Puerta and South Los Santos can be a looming backdrop to the industrial busyness. But on the ground, you sense a certain quiet labor.
